If you qualified to receive an event jersey you will receive it at the event sign on.
NOTE * If you are signing on for another cyclist you must bring their registration form which must be signed by them. We will not be able to process their registration without a signed registration form.
Jerseys – Please be aware that the Tour de Boyne Valley jerseys will only be available to those who registered early. There will be no extra jerseys available on the day and for those who were lucky enough to get in early to get your free jersey, the jersey you ordered will be the jersey you get. You cannot change sizes on the day. Thank you for understanding.
If you need cycling gear and could not order a free jersey, ŠKODA will have a merchandise stand at the registration event on Friday between 5pm and 8:30pm at Western Motors ŠKODA garage and then again at St. Marys GAA Donore Saturday morning. There will be a wide range of cycling merchandise for sale so you can look the part on the day.
BIKE TAG – PLACE ON FRONT OF BIKE – By displaying your bike tag properly on the front of your bike you will be able to access personal pictures and video after the event. If brake / gear cables obstruct the tag from cameras you will not be able to receive the pictures so ensure the bike tag is mounted correctly.
Registration Form – Eventmaster will send you a reminder email and follow up by text message with a link to your registration form. You must bring it with you and hand it to the registration team either on your phone or a printed copy. This will be scanned and you will receive your event number and ID and event Goodie Bag.
Please note if you attempt to cycle the event under someone else’s name without going through the event transfer system you do so at your own risk and are not covered by the event. ID may be requested at sign to verify details.
Check your bike -Please check your bike before the cycle. The majority of technical issues happen in the first 20km of the event as cyclists do not check their bike. Pump your wheels before the spin and bring spare tubes. A bike mechanic will be located at each of the food stops but you may experience delays waiting for mechanics so please have your bike checked.
ŠKODA Cycling Experience – ŠKODA will host a pasta party at Western Motors ŠKODA Garage on Friday evening from 5pm to 8.30pm. A bike mechanic will be there for any last minute tweaks to your bike. The bike mechanic will also be at the event start on the morning of the event. The masseuse team from IMST will provide post cycle massages at the ŠKODA Dome at St. Marys GAA Complex.
ŠKODA cycling retail gear will be onsite to purchase before the event.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to volume of emails we receive we are not in a position to respond to all queries but have created an FAQ section to answer all event related questions that cyclists may have. This covers any questions you might have on refunds, jerseys or transfer of places. We do not post jerseys and it is cyclists’ responsibility to collect their own jerseys. The jersey sized ordered is the size you will receive – jerseys will be given to the first 1000 registered and details of the size ordered will appear on your registration form.
We hope you have a fantastic day at the ŠKODA Tour de Boyne Valley Cycle.
